The Registered Nurse will enhance the doctor/patient relationship within the Midland Health healthcare offices by exhibit professional nursing judgment and skills.
SHIFT AND SCHEDULE
Full Time, Monday - Friday; 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
ESSENTIAL FUNCATIONS/PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS

• Triage and assess patients,
• Prepare patients for examination and testing,

• refill of medications.
• continual assessment of the office environment relating to patients and co-workers;
• organization, cleanliness, privacy, security, and safety.
• Manage medical supplies, instruments, and equipment including proper storage, cleaning and monitoring requirements for operation.
• Maintain a professional attitude and work attire and adhere to office policies.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• You must have either a current Texas professional RN license with 1-2 years of nursing practice, an additional one to two years office experience preferred but not required.
• You should also possess a knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols, policies and procedures related to infection control, environmental safety and patient confidentiality, and EHR reporting and records.
• You should be able to appropriately assess and assist, use universal precautions, safe workplace and confidentiality methods, and appropriately chart patient data.

· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential responsibility satisfactorily. The individual must be able to: Ø Stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear. Lifting is limited to 35 lbs. for clinical staff and to 50 lbs. for non-clinical staff.
